Rory Gallagher Facelift

JHS & Co have added Rory Gallagher’s ’61 Sunburst Strat to it’s ‘Signature Series’ guitar body overlays

Rockano productions have used photographs of Rory Gallagher‘s iconic axe to re-create it’s looks, now available as a guitar overlay. Already in production are overlays for Franci Rossi‘s infamous green Telecaster and Rick Parfitt‘s signature series.

“For a while during the ‘70s, Quo and Rory shared management and we toured together in America, so we knew each other well,” says Parfitt, Facelift’s inventor and co-owner of Rockano. “Rory was such a sweet man and an unbelievable musician, with a guitar to match. I’m so pleased and proud that Facelift has been able to reproduce it and help to keep Rory’s fantastic legacy alive.”

Officially licensed worldwide by both Fender and Yamaha, the Facelift range now comprises ten designs to fit Stratocasters, nine for Telecasters and recently added two new designs to fit the Yamaha Pacifica 112V and three for Pacifica 012 and 112J guitar body shapes.

The Rory Gallagher overlay will be available in June of this year at 14.99.
