Press Release: Fargen Amplification announces its artist and events lineup for Winter NAMM 2014, in Anaheim, California. Performing artists include Pete Anderson, Andy Andersson of Fuel and instrumental guitarist Toshi Iseda. All artist appearances will take place at the Fargen Amplification booth #2390. The co-sponsored events with Revered Guitars and Duesenberg Guitars will be held off site in the evenings.
Pete Anderson will perform on both Friday and Saturday at 1:00 pm. Pete will demonstrate the new Townhouse 20 and will also play through Fargen’s classic Blackbird VS2. Pete is a multi-platinum, GRAMMY Award-winning producer and guitarist, who is most widely known as the musical partner to Dwight Yoakam; whose records he produced, arranged and played on from 1986 to 2003, resulting in over 25 million units sold. Pete is also well known as a pioneer of the roots-rock genre and was an early champion of the Americana movement. http://www.peteanderson.com
Andy Andersson of FUELwill perform on Saturday at 3:00 pm. Andy is just off FUEL’s “The Big Night Out Tour” and has been in the studio working on FUEL’s next album Puppet Strings, scheduled to be released first week of March on Sony/Megaforce. The first single, “Soul to Preach Too” hits radio on Feb 2nd. FUEL has sold over 3.5 million albums in the U.S., and has scored a number of top 5 singles. http://www.fuelrocks.com
Toshi Iseda will perform on Friday at 3:00 pm, and will demonstrate the new limited edition High Gain Classic 50. Toshi burst out with his own full-length CD Full On! after years of honing his skills. He has been featured in guitar-oriented publications such as Guitar World and Guitar Player, has written for Showcase Midwest and Guitarist Network, and has taught and given clinics all over the world. Fargen Amplification is also co-sponsoring two events during the show. The first is Friday night, along with Reverend Guitars, including special guests Pete Anderson (as mentioned above), Reeves Gabrels (best known for his work with David Bowie) and The Cold and Lovely (with Nicole Fiorentino, bass for The Smashing Pumpkins, Veruca Salt, and Meghan Toohey, the Weepies). The second event is Saturday night, along with Duesenberg Guitars featuring Mike Campbell (Tom Petty) and his Dirty Knobs band … with many special guests.
