Exile On Main Street Re-issued

Universal Records are reissuing the Rolling Stones’ classic with deluxe and super deluxe editions to include unreleased tracks and added extras.

The Rolling Stones celebrated album, Exile On Main Street is being reissued on May 8th. A special edition release is also set to include 10 unheard tracks including, Following The River, Pass The Wine, Plundered My Soul and Dancing In The Light all produced by Jimmy Miller, Don Was and the Glimmer Twins. As well as these unearthed gems, the cd will also include new versions of Stones’ staples, Loving Cup and Soul Survivor.
As if that wasn’t enough, the deluxe edition will include Stones In Exile, the documentary directed by Stephen Kijak that followed the band while they recorded the infamous record.
The super deluxe package will include vinyl, the documentary and a 50 page collector’s book with photos from the period.
