Emma Hack’s Artwork

Super talented artist Emma Hack has been commissioned to create the artwork for this year’s Adelaide Guitar Festival.

Emma Hack, who began life as a face painter, took a mammoth 10 hour session to complete this incredible piece of work for the Adelaide Guitar Festival

We highly recommend you visit Emma’s website where you will be struck by her beautiful collections of work that blend clever illusion with intricate design. Whether using fresian cows, or the human body as her canvas, Hack’s imagination knows no bounds as she seamlessly blends her subjects with their surroundings to mind-boggling effect. Genius!

As for the festival…

The 4 day event, set to take place this November will feature over 70 musicians in 16 performances, with three Australian premieres. Artists from the United States, Brazil, Spain, Austria and the local scene will also be joining in the celebrations of our beloved 6 string.

“Performances will range from concert hall recitals to intimate pairings, from cabaret style shows to late night gigs with everything from blues to world music, classical, latin and jazz. To complement the program there will be a range of free and low cost workshops, master classes, artist talks and panel discussions, with a range of cultural cuisine and a selection of fine South Australian wine and beverages accompanying the music.”
