Diago Introduce New Portable Softcase Pedalboard

Diago’s new ‘Commuter’ is ideal for guitarists and bassists on the move

Sometimes lugging your pedalboard around can be a real backbreaker, so those cunning chaps over at Diago have conceived a clever lightweight solution with their new Diago Commuter, a super light, portable softcase for your stomp boxes.

Here's what they say… Guitarists and bassists can now be more peripatetic with their FX pedals than ever before, thanks to the all-new Diago Commuter – an ultra-portable, lightweight and affordable alternative to hard case pedalboards.

The Commuter is compact (it measures just 49 x 26 x 8cm), light – it weighs only 1.8kg – and portable, but will still hold up to 10 pedals, plus a power supply, and wah pedals fit perfectly too.
Featuring a 12mm thick HDF board, with a tough, satin black coating, and six rubber pads for high rigidity and even weight distribution, the Commuter is set for years of use on the road. Slip the board out of the carrying case and carry it about on stage with the built-in handle.
The rugged, heavy duty Diago carry case – made of a dense EPE foam shell and a hard-wearing 600 denier fabric covering for both impact and scratch resistance – has a deep pocket with zip closure, perfect for storing your cables and other accessories.
The Commuter features the very same super-grippy pedal carpet Diago use on their successful hard case pedalboards. Unlike some poor-quality carpet, Diago's does not deteriorate or become fluffy with repeated removal of pedals – it'll remain grippy for the lifetime of the board. Each Commuter comes with 2m/6"6' of Diago's self-adhesive pedal tape.

The Commuter is ideal for all sorts of situations: travelling to the gig on foot or on the underground, swinging by for a quick practice after work, or playing an acoustic set where you just need a few pedals. And at a mere %uFFE159.99 UK RRP, it's got to be on your to try list!
Diago is distributed exclusively in the UK and Eire by John Hornby Skewes & Co. Ltd. For more information, visit the JHS website.
