Chickenfoot live in the UK

Superband Chickenfoot follow up the success of their second album with UK dates

Chickenfoot are following up the release of their second album ‘III’ with two hotly-anticipated UK ‘Road Test’ dates next week – the second time the supergroup have graced these shores.

The band will be playing Manchester Academy on Thursday January 12th, followed by London’s O2 Academy Brixton on Saturday January 14th. The dates are part of a five-date European tour.

The group are promising to perform tracks from both their eponymous debut as well as cuts from the new LP; the first time these songs will be performed outside the US.

The band features guitar genius Joe Satriani, ex-Van Halen members bassist Michael Anthony and frontman Sammy Hagar, although usual sticksman Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Chad Smith  will be absent, replaced by the legendary Kenny Aronoff, who will join the band for the European dates.
