Ampeg new Pro Neo bass cabs are compact, durable and able to take some serious muscle
Ampeg have announced the release of two new bass heads in their Pro Neo Series. Both heads are described as delivering ‘the high wattage, tonal flexibility and lightweight design of Ampeg‘s SVT-PRO Series‘ and are rack mountable. The SVT-8PRO has Ampeg’s highest ever highest output bringing forth a gut-busting 2500W of RMS power that’s sure to leave most bassist’s worth their salt salivating at the prospect. Features include a flexible 5-position mid tone control, remote switching FX loop and an onboard variable compressor and with a top notch JJ12AX7 tube preamp it’s a perfect match when combined with the new Pro Neo Series or the Heritage series cabs. The SVT-8PRO has Ampeg‘s highest ever highest output bringing forth a gut-busting 2500W of RMS power.
Ampeg are also releasing some new compact and extremely lightweight are cabs designed specifically to harness the power of high-output, modern bass heads and come in a selection of speaker configurations including 4×10″ (PN-410HLF), 2×10″ (PN-210HLF) and a single 15″ (PN-115HLF).
